We are a supportive social group for individuals with Parkinson’s, along with their partners and caregivers, residing in South Manchester and nearby areas. Our monthly meetings take place on the second Monday of each month at Didsbury Good Neighbours, located in Didsbury Park. Attendees typically begin arriving at 12 PM, and the gathering usually lasts one to two hours. Feel free to drop by; you will be warmly welcomed.
We appreciate donations from both visitors and members to help cover our operating expenses and provide refreshments. A common donation is £6 per person. Additionally, some members choose to share a lunch for £4 per person (those interested in lunch will be asked in advance), or you are welcome to bring your own meal.
Occasionally, we host guest speakers who provide valuable information on topics of interest to the group. We also organise social events and outings, which offer a chance to connect with others facing similar challenges. While we are affiliated with Parkinson’s UK and many in our group are members, you are welcome to attend our meetings without being a member.
